The national Greco-Roman wrestling team of the Islamic Republic of Iran, after 11 years and for the second time, was able to stand firmly on the podium of the world championship at the Zagreb 2025 Games.
This is the first time in the history of Iran's sports that the national freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling teams have won the world championship title simultaneously in the same tournament.
