President Pezeshkian: Scientists assassinated for their commitment to advancing Iran

In a strong condemnation of the inaction by self-proclaimed advocates of human rights and peace concerning the crimes of the Israeli regime, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran’s scientists have dedicated themselves solely to serving their people, yet they have been assassinated by the Israeli regime.

President Pezeshkian made the remarks during a visit to the memorial for martyr scientists at the Nuclear Engineering Faculty of Shahid Beheshti University on Tuesday morning.

During his visit, the president paid his respects to the martyred scientists at the ceremony and signed the guestbook.

Reflecting on his connections with the honored scientists, Pezeshkian said that he had interactions with these individuals due to their positions and responsibilities, and that those martyrs had no sins other than their know-how and determination to equip Iran with advanced technologies.

He criticized the behavior of those who claim to champion democracy, human rights, and security, noting that these claims are nothing but lies.

Highlighting the aggression of the Israeli regime and its support from the United States and European countries, Pezeshkian said that the aggressive regime enjoys full support from the United States and is backed to continue the massacre in the region.

According to the president, the Israeli regime blocks access to water, medicine, bread, and food, leaving people trapped in hunger.

Pezeshkian honored the memory of the Iranian martyrs, expressing hope that the young generation would continue their legacy with strength for the independence and freedom of the Islamic country.
