Iran beach soccer begin World Cup with win over Mauritania

The Iranian national beach soccer team beat the national team of Mauritania on Thursday in their first match in the World Cup underway in Seychelles.

The team of Iran defeated the team of Mauritania 5-4 on Thursday in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025.

Iran are seeded in Group B along with defending African champions Mauritania, Portugal and Paraguay.

The World Cup kicked on on Thu, May 1 and will wrap up on Sun, May 11, 2025
