Birth of a new Resistance in the region / Iran’s nuclear doctrine has not changed

Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council has said that: “With the occupation of Syrian lands by the Zionist regime, a new Resistance has been born that will emerge in the coming years.”

Nournews: Ali Akbar Ahmadian, who is also the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, made these remarks during a meeting with the visiting Omani Foreign Minister in Tehran. The two met and held talks on Tuesday night.

Referring to the long history of bilateral relations, the two parties reviewed bilateral issues and regional developments and emphasized the need to increase the level of relations in various fields, including political, security, and economic, as well as advancing transit projects between the two countries, as well as with Central Asian countries and Russia.

In response to the inquiry of the Foreign Minister of Oman about Iran’s nuclear activities, Ahmadian described rumors and statements about the increase in enriched material stockpiles and the enhancement of enrichment levels by Iran as baseless.

He said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is still committed to the general framework of the Muscat agreements, and the ball is in the court of the other party to fulfill its commitments."

Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council said that, despite matters presented by certain media, no changes have been made in Iran’s nuclear doctrine, based on the opinion of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Ahmadian condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression in Syria and said, "Not only has Resistance not weakened, but with the occupation of Syrian lands by the Zionist regime, a new Resistance has been born that will emerge in the coming years."

Badr al-Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman, also referred to the Sultan of Oman’s emphasis on expanding ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran more than ever before and said, 'The ties between the two countries are at the highest strategic level, and the two parties have close collaboration in various issues.'"
