Iran’s Ahmadabbasi named Asia's best futsal player of year

Saeid Ahmadabbasi, an Iranian professional futsal player, has been awarded the title of Asia's best futsal player of the year.

According to IRNA, the honor was announced during the Asian Football Awards ceremony held last night at the Grand Peace Palace of Kyung Hee University in Seoul.

The event took place just a day after the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony, where Spanish midfielder Rodri of Manchester City won the award.
