NOURNEWS: Mahsa Qorbani from Iran officiated a men's football match between Tajikistan and Afghanistan in the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) competition for the first time in history. Qorbani served as the main referee for the match.
"We are so excited to announce a turning point in CAFA 2024. For the first time in history, two women will officiate men's competitions on the second day," an Instagram account related to CAFA wrote.

"Mahsa Qorbani from Iran officiated the match between Tajikistan and Afghanistan, displaying her exceptional skills and leadership on the field," the message continued.
Another woman referee from Kyrgyzstan officiated the match between Iran and Turkmenistan in the same competition.
