NOURNEWS: The 14th presidential election has reached its end and in a few hours, voting will begin across Iran. The selection of the 8th Iranian president has been marked by unexpected events, with a runoff happening for the first time in 19 years of presidential elections. Now we must wait to see which candidate, Masoud Pezeshkian or Saeid Jalili, will win more votes and enter Pastour.
Based on the latest election survey released by ISPA (Iranian Students Polling Agency), voter turnout in the second round of the presidential election is estimated at 45% with a margin of error of ±2%, considering a response rate of 48%. According to this survey, Masoud Pezeshkian is predicted to receive 49.5% of the votes, while Saeid Jalili is predicted to receive 43.9%. Additionally, 4.8% of participants in this survey said they have not yet chosen a candidate and may decide by Friday.
On the other hand, the survey results from the National Thought Polling Institute show that Masoud Pezeshkian will receive 49.3% of the votes, and Saeid Jalili will receive 50.7%.
