Iran's junior volleyball team emerged victorious against Turkmenistan 3-2 (23-25, 21-15, 25-16, 25-23, 19-17) in the opening match on Saturday.
Iran will play Afghanistan in the second match on Sunday.
The tournament includes six teams including Iran, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and hosts Pakistan competing for the top honors in the Central Zone.
The CAVA Nations League is underway in Islamabad, Pakistan from May 11 to 17.
