NOURNEWS: “The dominant powers are trying to obstruct our country's pursuit of peaceful nuclear goals by imposing various limitations and illegal costs on the Islamic Republic of Iran," said Mohammad Eslami, head of the Iran Atomic Energy Agency, speaking to journalists before the International Conference of Nuclear Science and Technology in Isfahan.
He added: “But with the concerted efforts of our industry’s scientists and workers, we can overcome all obstacles.”
According to a Nournews reporter in Isfahan, Eslami stated that the meeting had a warm reception, and despite foreign attempts to create obstacles, experienced figures participated, presenting valuable articles.
The official mentioned that several articles would be presented orally and via video conference.
“We're prepared to challenge the dominance of arrogant countries over our nuclear industry to facilitate the transfer of peaceful technologies to other countries, thus breaking the blockade and fostering a different scientific system worldwide.”
Eslami emphasized that breaking the monopoly of arrogant countries on the peaceful industry requires certain mechanisms.
“Achieving this goal entails various actions, including holding exhibitions to showcase the country’s nuclear achievements.”
The international conference on nuclear science and technology will span two days, during which Rafael Grossi, the director-general of the Atomic Energy Agency, will deliver a speech as one of the invitees.
