NOURNEWS- Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf emphasized Iran’s readiness to reinforce convergence for regional peace and security in a message to the 16th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA).
Ghalibaf's message was read by Iran's Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali on Tuesday.
There are necessary capacities in the parliaments to build a world free from war and conflict, violence, and extremism, the message read.
Ghalibaf expressed hope that the meeting can take an effective step towards reducing threats and increasing collective security among members and regional countries.
Jalali offered Iran’s parliament’s readiness for active cooperation with other parliaments in line with strengthening the convergence and increasing participation in developing regional peace and security.
