NOURNEWS- The latest product of the foreign media's reality-making workshops is the distorting framing and biased narrations of the faces of Iran's proud children. When the recent untimely flood engulfed the Astara region in the northwest of Iran and caused a lot of damage, a wide range of people rushed to the aid of the flooded countrymen. Among these national helpers, there were some sports figures who attended the affected areas and fulfilled their humanitarian and patriotic duty by helping the victims of the flood.
This procedure is the usual conduct of heroes who consider themselves indebted to the people of Iran and go to help them in times of hardship and calamity to respond and compensate the support, needed help and encouragement of the nation in the fields of sports and art with their aid. In such cases, naturally, the hero loving people publish pictures of their presence in the virtual space and social media and other platforms. So far, nothing is out of the ordinary; But when the narrow eyes of foreign media are exposed to this subject, this ordinary event takes on other dimensions and effects and will be narrated as something strange.
Engineers of public opinion in the foreign media and “commotion creation” know well how to use the images of celebrities and national figures when they try to help their fellow countrymen and women. If the person in the picture has a clear affiliation with the government, they provide a frame for that picture to help highlight that person's “hypocrisy and pretense”. But if the image is of a person who somehow protested against the Islamic Republic in different events, they make another frame for him or her to show him/her as a symbol of a fighter and some sort of hero of resistance against the government. It is true that one of the functions of the media is to represent reality using different frames and narrations, but such frames will be justified and acceptable only when they have media logic and not political agendas. The presence of national heroes in areas affected by natural disasters in itself shows the unity and national bond of Iranians. However, the foreign media or opposition media framing workshops uses this very presence of sectoral cohesion as a crutch for creating social faults and a symbol for active political divisions. For these “crisis-friendly” media, it doesn't matter who is in the picture; It is important that his face is “frameable”. One is framed to make a flattering and pretentious face out of the targeted person, and the other is framed with a more or less similar image to make the person’s face a symbol of a popular fighter against the established order.
Iranian celebrities and heroes are far greater than frames and biased narrations, and the logic of their actions is fundamentally different from the logic of media politicians. Doctors, artists, jihadists, sportsmen, academics, soldiers, social activists, etc. are selfless servants of Iran. At the time of crisis, they sink to their knees in people's problems and carry the burden of the countrymen's sufferings; Without needing media frames, especially frames that come out of foreign conspiratorial workshops. Heroes of Iran which are the pride of the nation have always helped the people in need without thinking about any political, monetary or any gain, these heroes are the pride of the nation and their generous and great work will not become a lowly tool for the biased narrations of foreign media. It can be boldly said that these heroes and great human beings have absolutely no desire for these activities to be dramatized, and they are not happy with the reflection of these services in the national and domestic media, let alone in the politically biased and conspiratorial media. They like to be nameless servants of God in the service of the people and if they are going to sit in a frame or any narration, that frame must be aligned with God's satisfaction and great values and the popularity of men. These national prides have political health and behavioral honesty to the extent that even if they criticize something, they do not put their social services under the mortgage of those critical attitudes and separate the accounts of these two areas from each other. However, in the absence of honesty, the opposing media has always tried to fit the tall stature and vast greatness of the national heroes in their desired frames and narrations. This strategy of the opposition media is not something new. They have been working in this frame workshop for many years. If you look at the contemporary history of Iran, you will find a large gallery of these divisive frames. However, the people of Iran have always been suspicious of this gallery and know that their heroes do not belong in this frame nor will be aligned with these biased and agenda-oriented narrations.
