Intensification of the hidden conflict between Republicans centered over Trump

Trump basically does not commit himself to any rules nor order within the political party, and he believes that he should teach a hard lesson to some prominent Republican figures who are considered to be symbols of this party!

NOURNEWS- Donald Trump has once again become a controversial figure in the American electoral sphere these days.

If he is not convicted in the case of attacking the Congress on January 6 of 2021, for inciting his supporters to occupy the Capitol Hill area, and if he is able to participate in the 2024 presidential election, the troubles of the Republicans will enter a new phase.

The fact of the matter is that the leaders of the Republican Party are very worried about the destruction of the internal order of their respective party due to Trump's behavior, that is, Trump basically does not commit himself to any rules nor order within the political party, and he believes that he should teach a hard lesson to some prominent Republican figures who are considered to be symbols of this party!

The product of Trump's feud with the likes of Arizona Republican Senator John McCain before his death led many Arizona Republicans to vote for Biden and the Democrat's political party in the 2020 presidential election.

The same thing happened in the Republican state of Georgia, because of this, the Republicans lost their two traditional and important states. This can also happen in the two states of Ohio and Texas.

Now, in such a circumstance, the Republicans have to choose between two options: "vote getter candidate" and "maintaining the structure of the party ".

Donald Trump has emphasized in his latest positions; He will not sign the Republican Party Pledge of Allegiance, which is one of the requirements of the Republican National Committee to participate in the first debate of this party this month.

One of the provisions of this pledge is that the defeated candidates in the preliminary round of the internal party elections of the Republicans must support the final candidate.

But Trump told Newsmax reporter Eric Bolling: "I will not sign this commitment letter. They require us to sign a pledge, but I can name three or four people that I will not support to become president. So, there is a problem here."

In this interview, Trump also announced that next week he will announce his participation or non-participation in the first debate that will be held on August 23 in Milwaukee.

This is despite the fact that he will be automatically removed from this debate if he does not sign the above-mentioned commitment letter, but it seems that some officials of the Republican Party are against this issue.

The point is that; If Trump is not chosen as the official candidate of the Republican Party in the 2024 presidential election, he will definitely ask his supporters to challenge the ballot of the candidate of this party.

Trump may even officially take the Republican Party out of the political competition by participating in the elections as an independent candidate, and this would be the worst possible scenario for the Republicans.

The former president of the US is going to run for office while he faces a total of 78 charges in three separate criminal cases.

In addition to the attack on the US Congress on January 6, his charges include an investigation into the retention of classified documents after he left the White House and the payment of hush money to an adult actor in pornographic films before the 2016 election.

Meanwhile, according to the results of a new survey that was published some time ago, Trump is still the undisputed leader of the Republican Party's primary race to determine the party's final candidate in the 2024 election, with a 37% advantage over his closest rival, Ron DeSantis.
