The process of releasing billions of dollars from the assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which were illegally seized in South Korea by the US for several years, has begun. Iran has received the necessary guarantee for America's adherence to its obligations in this regard.
The method of usage of the mentioned to be released resources and financial assets is at the disposal and based solely on decisions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and these resources will be spent for the various needs of the country in accordance to the decisions of the competent authorities.
In addition to the release of the financial resources that were seized illegally, protecting the rights of Iranians around the world is one of the inherent duties of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this context, the release of a number of innocent Iranian prisoners, who were illegally arrested and imprisoned in the US in the past years under false accusations of circumventing the cruel American sanctions, has been recently pursued by the diplomatic system. Regarding this context, the release of a number of prisoners illegally detained by the US will be realized soon.
