NOURNEWS- The Associated Press and the Wall Street Journal have reported, citing US officials, that the Pentagon will soon offer to deploy armed marines to merchant ships in the Persian Gulf to deter Iranian forces from attacking them.
According to this report; The US may deploy these forces on merchant ships vulnerable to Iranian forces, especially ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Previously, the western media claimed that according to this plan, thousands of American marines and sailors are now on the way to the Persian Gulf with the military ships of "Bataan" and "Carter Hull", which have left a port in Virginia on July 10 for this mission.
America had previously sent a number of A-10, Thunderbolt 2, F-16 and F-35 fighters to the region in addition to the Thomas Hudner destroyer and other ships.
These media narration has taken place with the aim of showing America's commitment to its allies, but according to the United States' track records, records such as its illegal presence in Afghanistan and Iraq and the evil actions of this country in the Persian Gulf, including the shooting of an Iranian passenger plane, one can conclude that America’s presence in the region, not only has it never created security, but it has left countless victims and has led to different crises.
To describe it more precisely; The plan to expand the American military presence in the region cannot be and, it is not related to the will of this country to create security or safeguarding any existing security in the region, this new strategy must be considered as something beyond the now and then contradictory comments from media.
On the other hand, at the same time as these developments and following the visit of the American National Security Advisor to Saudi Arabia last Thursday, the issue of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime has been highlighted again along with Joe Biden's optimism in this regard.
In this regard; By creating a general picture of the creation of a new security order in the region centered and dependent on the Zionist regime, Western media is trying to induce that the main prerequisite of this new order will be the normalization of relations between Riyadh and Tel Aviv.
It is said that the process of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime, which of course Riyadh has never confirmed, started during the Donald Trump era, and although it was slow during the Biden era, especially in the last year, under the influence of issues such as Israel's internal crisis, Recently, the Biden administration has started it again with more seriousness and focus.
In the recent approach of the White House, of course, one should not ignore the pressures of Congress and the role of the Saudi lobby to fulfill its demands.
It’s not unlikely that the Biden’s administration, at the same time, while trying to make achievements on the eve of the presidential elections of this country, intends to put pressure on Netanyahu to make changes in the cabinet and form a new coalition government with a smaller composition of extremists.
In any way, everything in regard to this matter is obvious; Right now, the case of normalizing relations between Riyadh and Tel Aviv is more serious than in the past, especially since after the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia last winter to normalize their relations, the expected speed in the comprehensive implementation of the mentioned agreement has not reached the expectations.
In the meantime, considering the United States' dissatisfaction with the de-escalation process in relations between Iran and the countries of the southern Persian Gulf, as well as the expansion of China's influence in the region, the reason behind the strengthening of the American military presence in the Persian Gulf, apart from its connection with the ongoing shadow war in regard to the subject of oil tankers between Tehran and Washington, is probably in to gain the satisfaction of Saudi and Emirati allies after continuous criticism of It is due to America's "inaction" against Iran.
There is ample evidence that the traditional order in the region is undergoing a metamorphosis with the role of the main powers changing as well as the addition of new components.
In such a situation, the US, as a country that, based on past experiences and its records, always tries to achieve its goals by using military approaches in political and security bottlenecks, has started a new game whose field has expanded from eastern Syria to the Persian Gulf.
The political-security developments of the coming months and the reaction of different countries will determine how different countries' position and effectiveness will be in the new order of the world.
