BBC's attempt to whitewash the case of Britain’s crimes in Yemen

Recently, in a report, the BBC, without mentioning London's special and effective role in supporting the coalition that invaded Yemen, claimed dialogue and harmony with children who have been disabled in the war!

NOURNEWS- Meanwhile, after eight years of imposed war and arms trade and the crimes of the West, in addition to improving its weapons and defense capabilities, Yemen has been able to register its name among the countries that stand against the aggression of the rulers, which is still remains under the shadow of economic sanctions, all-round blockade and non-commitment of international institutions!

A noteworthy point in regards to the current circumstances; Is the approach of some Western media, which are nauseatingly trying to whitewash the widespread crimes of the Western countries against the oppressed people of Yemen.

In this regard; Recently, in a report, the BBC, without mentioning London's special and effective role in supporting the coalition that invaded Yemen, claimed dialogue and harmony with children who have been disabled in the war!

Like many other western media in such reports, the BBC tries to introduce the issue not as an imposed war caused by foreigners' encroachment on the territorial integrity of Yemen, but as an internal war, and on the other hand, to blame the Houthi and Ansar Allah resistance movement as the main culprits of the horrible situation in Yemen.

The BBC has claimed in its most recent report: "What was initially a civil war turned into a full-scale war with the intervention of regional rivals who supported the two conflicting parties. There is no ongoing negotiation between the Yemeni conflicting groups. The divide in this country is getting deeper day by day, like a puzzle with missing pieces that can't be put together anymore. Despite international efforts for advancing the peace talks continue, exhaustion and despair have filled the atmosphere here.”

This report without any reference to the betrayal of the government of " Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi" and the violation of his covenant with other tribes and political groups and finally his asylum in Saudi Arabia with the support of the West, as well as the widespread support of the Yemeni people for Ansar Allah and its connection with the army in confronting the aggressors and The presence of Ansar Allah in the government and the administration of affairs, as well as their pivotal role in negotiations with the United Nations and foreign mediators, attribute all of Yemen's problems to the Houthis.

Another part of this report states: "If suffering has an address, it is probably Al-Rashid Street in Taiz , Yemen, which is surrounded by mountains and Houthi rebels. Badr al-Harbi is seven years old and his right leg was amputated above knee. His older brother Hashem's right leg was injured and he has lost one of his thumbs. These children, were wounded by Houthi shelling on the way back from school in the morning of an autumn day!

In other parts of this report, it is stated: "Here in Taiz, we live with fear and terror. People do not know when rockets or Houthi snipers are going to target them. More than 3,000 days have passed since the siege of Taiz, the battlefield between the government forces and the Houthis. Most of the children who have been amputated or killed during these years have been victims of Houthi attacks!

Without mentioning that Ansar Allah is the representative of all groups and the Yemeni nation in the peace negotiations with the UN and mediators, the BBC has claimed in its report: "Many doubt that the Houthis are looking for a peace agreement in principle. A 20-year-old resident of Taiz said: They claim that government is their God-given right. They claim that the Prophet is their ancestor. I don't think they will put down their weapons and go for elections and democracy."

At the same time, the imperial media of Britain has adopted a divisive policy and tries to ignore the role of the Western countries in the Yemen crisis with the keyword of Iran and Saudi Arabia: " Saudi Arabia supported the weak government in Yemen but recognized by the international community, and Iran supported the Shia Houthi movement that Its official name is Ansar Allah.”

This distorted narrative, in addition to creating divisions among Islamic states and also whitewashing Western countries, tries to attribute all the crises and problems of West Asia and the Islamic world to the internal competition and confrontation of Islamic countries, while presenting a bellicose and anti-human image of the Islamic world, in a way to justify the ongoing anti-Islamic movement in the West.

This nauseating behavior of the western media towards the war in Yemen is in a situation where the western countries have earned billions of dollars from the sale of weapons to the anti-Yemen coalition during the last eight years by fanning the flames of conflict and war, and by doing so they have trampled on all international rules and humanitarian rights and laws.

For example; Oxfam, one of the largest international aid organizations to eradicate poverty, hunger and injustice, has accused the British government of prolonging the war in Yemen due to the sale of military equipment, including aerial refueling equipment, to Saudi Arabia.

"Liz Truss", the former prime minister of Britain for mere 45 days, previously did not consider the sale of military weapons to Saudi Arabia as a violation of human rights, and with complete arrogance, she has said that the income from the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia is more important than dealing with marginal issues such as human rights.

Britain's destructive role in the Yemen war has been such that Human Rights Watch announced; The British government should immediately stop granting licenses to export weapons to countries like Saudi Arabia.

It is interesting to note that at the height of the protests against the sale of British weapons to Saudi Arabia, the BBC supported Britain’s government actions and stated that other countries also sell weapons to Saudi Arabia, calling London's participation in the killing of the Yemeni people a normal thing.

At the same time, reports indicate the presence of British intelligence in Yemen and their role in strengthening Al-Qaeda and separatist groups, as well as the British strategy to dominate Yemen's energy resources, which reveals the true nature of this country's performance and long-term plans towards Yemen and the falseness of the humanitarian claims of the British media.

Another noteworthy point in the BBC's treatment of the situation in Yemen is its struggle to present the West as a savior, as it tries to present a failed model of resistance, which has no future, while humiliating the Yemeni nation, under the guise of seemingly humanitarian and emotional reports. It does not exist for them.

The struggle of the Western media to clean up the anti-human face of the West takes place while the case of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen and the sanctions imposed on other countries which have actually threatened human lives, shows the anti-human nature of these countries.
