NOURNEWS - Yisrael Katz, the Zionist regime's minister of National Infrastructure, Energy, and Water, announced on Tuesday that Tel Aviv opposes the development of Saudi Arabia's nuclear program.
In response to the question of the "Ynetnews" network about the possibility of a civilian nuclear program for Saudi Arabia, Katz said: "Israel does not encourage such matters, and I do not think that Israel would agree to such matters."
The New York Times also claimed that Saudi Arabia's nuclear program was one of Riyadh's conditions for signing an agreement to normalize relations with Israel, but Saudi or American officials have not officially confirmed this issue.
However; The Zionist newspaper "Haaretz" quoted Israeli sources as saying that Tel Aviv rejected Riyadh's two conditions for the normalization of relations.
There are several important points in this regard:
First; Israel opposes any development of Islamic countries; the Zionist regime opposes even the use of peaceful nuclear technology by a country like Saudi Arabia.
Second; The main goal of the Zionist regime in establishing relations with Arab and Islamic countries is not based on cooperation for securing common interests, this regime uses a fully one-sided and controlling approach.
Third; according to these points, the main goal of the Zionist regime in establishing relations with Arab and Islamic countries is to create a disturbance in the cause of the freedom of Jerusalem and opposition of the Zionist regimes cruelty against Palestine’s innocent and oppressed people. Because this common cause, due to the widespread support of the Islamic Ummah, is the main factor of the power of Arab countries, which the Zionist regime is very afraid of and seeks to destroy.
Fourth; In the past years, the Zionist regime and its supporters have tried to create an unreal hostility from within the Islamic world by agitating Islamic countries and Iran phobia propaganda, to propose Iran as the enemy of the Middle East, so by doing so, their goal was to destroy to unity of West Asia’s countries and to challenge the power of the Islamic world to defend the holy cause of Palestine.
In any way; Fortunately, with the planning of Iran and Saudi Arabia, the process of resolving past misunderstandings in the relations between the two countries has begun and it is progressing with considerable speed, this will undoubtedly have decisive effects on the convergence, cooperation and unity of other Islamic countries.
As its leaders have clearly stated many times, the Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized on the policy of strengthening Islamic countries in various political, economic, technological, and defensive dimensions, and will naturally follow the same procedure in its new relations with Saudi Arabia.
Accordingly, for certain, cooperation in the field of peaceful nuclear technologies and sharing Iran’s knowledge, experiences and achievements in the nuclear field to Saudi Arabia in accordance with international laws and under the supervision of the IEAE, can be one of the main cooperation axes in their bilateral relations.
Peaceful nuclear energy, which is one of the main foundations for the development and progress of countries in the fields of electricity production, agriculture, medicine, etc., in the light of close cooperation between Islamic countries, it is possible to provide the basis for Muslim nations to benefit from the vast achievements of the nuclear industry for greater prosperity without depending on nor being blackmailed by the Western countries that own this technology.
