In this meeting, referring to the developing relations between the two countries, Shamkhani mentioned the most urgent needs of the region to achieve stability and progress, reducing tension, maintaining regional security and increasing collective cooperation without the role and interference of foreign powers.

The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of our country emphasized the need to resolve existing disputes between the countries of the region through dialogue and avoiding violence and said: Any tension in the region will create a platform for the presence and role of extra-regional countries, which will definitely not be beneficial.

The Secretary of the National Security Council of our country expressed his satisfaction with the favorable level of political relations between them and said: Considering the will of the leaders of the two countries in the all-round development of relations, the level of economic cooperation should also increase to the same extent, but even more.

Shamkhani considered the full implementation of Tehran-Yervan agreements as important and emphasized the completion of joint projects between the two countries as soon as possible.

He considered the activation of the many capacities of cooperation between the two countries to require special attention and said: the operationalization of these capacities will strengthen the existing ties between the two countries.

In this meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the accompanying delegation in Yerevan, and considered the cooperation between the two countries to be good and progressing.

Pointing to the need to further develop Tehran-Yervan relations in all areas, Pashinian welcomed the participation of Iranian companies in Armenia's infrastructure projects and stated: "We are ready to raise the level of all-round cooperation based on ensuring the interests and welfare of the peoples of Iran and Armenia."
