In a telephone conversation with Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday, Araqchi condemned the terrorist attack in Mehrestan that killed a number of Pakistani nationals.

Offering his condolences to the families of the victims, the foreign minister expressed Iran’s determination to detect and bring to justice the perpetrators of the crime.

For his part, the senior Pakistani diplomat praised Iran’s resolve to hunt for those who have ordered and perpetrated the terrorist attack, voicing his country’s readiness for closer cooperation with Iran in the fight against terrorism.

The two ministers also talked about the regional and international developments.

Araqchi further briefed Ishaq Dar on the indirect talks held recently in Muscat between the Iranian and American delegations, praising Pakistan for its constructive stances on the negotiations.
