UK appoints new ambassador to Iran
Hugo Shorter has been appointed as the new Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Shorter will act as the successor of Simon Shercliffe, the former British ambassador to Iran, according to the website of UK government.
British Ambassador to Lebanon and Chargé d'Affaires of the British Embassy in Afghanistan are among Shorter's records in the British Foreign Ministry.
