Cong Peiwu, who recently presented his credentials to Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, discussed a wide range of bilateral issues with Boroujerdi and other officials from the Iran-China Friendship Association and the Chinese embassy.

He also stressed China's commitment to playing a constructive role in regional stability and acknowledged Iran's significant role in regional developments.
