NOURNEWS- According to Al Mayadeen the missile attack against the American forces on the Ain al-Asad base in western Iraq, which was carried out by the Islamic resistance forces of this country on Saturday, is the biggest attack since October 7 (the beginning of the Al-Aqsa storm operation) so far.

In a statement, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq took responsibility for this attack and announced that a large number of rockets were used in this attack.

Reuters also quoted an American official as saying: A ballistic missile was used in today's attack on the Ain al-Asad base of American forces.

Euronews also announced the number of missiles fired at Ain al-Assad base as "more than 20 missiles".

In the past days, US military bases in Iraq and Syria have been targeted by drone, rocket, and missile attacks on several occasions.
