The head of the Iran Federation of Rock Climbing denied obtaining guarantee and house arrest of Elnaz Rekabi.

NOURNEWS - Reza Zarei, head of the Iran Federation of Rock Climbing: Before sending the athletes to the Asian Championships in South Korea, no guarantee was taken from Ms. Rekabi. Some foreign media, in continuation of false propaganda, claimed that a heavy guarantee was obtained from Elnaz Rekabi before traveling to South Korea. Zarei added: Not only from them but also from other old athletes such as Ms. Rekabi or Mr. Reza Alipour, no deposit or guarantee has been taken to participate in these competitions. Last summer, after she pointed out that the Austrian embassy refused to give Ms. Rekabi a visa and rejected her, the French embassy granted her a visa and removed the rejection, and subsequently, the agency that had acted to remove Ms. Rekabi's rejection, asked for a guarantee, and because of this, the federation took a guarantee from her, and they were supposed to withdraw before sending her to South Korea, but she did not ask the federation. Therefore, if a guarantee is taken to obtain a Schengen visa, it will be done at the request of the visa processing agency and based on the laws of the Schengen area countries. It should be mentioned that Elnaz Rekabi, a member of Iran's Rock Climbing national team, is currently with her family.
